Based at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Civic Tech USC is a new initiative working at the intersection of technology, citizenship, and government. We are a group of researchers and civic hackers exploring how new technologies can help to reimagine civic life and engage everyday people in improving their communities. We study and develop new technologies that promote civic responsibility, transparency, fairness, and participation.
Civic Tech USC is incubated at the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy, and is made possible through generous support from the Annenberg Family Chair in Communication Leadership. For more information, see our media kit and contact Ev Boyle at email@example.com.
